In this video, Bentley Publishers technical editors Charles Burke and Nick Czerula illustrate how to test the camshaft position sensor on a 2001 - 2005 BMW 3 Series (E46).
Exhaust camshaft position sensor is shown. Testing intake sensor is similar.
The vehicle had a fault code P0369 or a BMW FC-018 stored. Indicating a fault with the exhaust camshaft position sensor.
