Abstract: Crankshaft hub center bolt updated tightening torque angle
Applies to: MINI Cooper and Cooper S (R55, R56, R57) 2007 - 2012
An incorrect crankshaft central bolt tightening torque was corrected by MINI as of October 2010, the new torque applies to repairs that include replacing the
crankshaft central bolt, BMW P/N 11 21 7 616 164. The correct torque specification is given below.
Always use a new crankshaft hub center bolt anytime the bolt is loosened or removed.
