Secondary Air Pump removal and installation 2.5 liter engine

Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
Torque wrench V.A.G 1331
Removing
Note:
_Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Motor V101 is removed together with bracket._Remove left front wheel housing liner Body Exterior - Repair Group 66 .

Disconnect intake pipe - 2 - and pressure pipe - 1 - . To do so, compress securing ring.
Disengage and disconnect connector - 3 - .
Unclip harness connector - 4 - from bracket.

Remove bolt - 3 - for double signal horn bracket.
Remove bolt - 1 - and nut - 2 - and remove bracket with Secondary Air Injection (AIR)
Pump Motor V101 .
Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:
Make sure that pressure pipe and intake pipe lock securely to Secondary Air Injection
(AIR) Pump Motor V101 .
