Hub-injection pump shaft rotation - page 23-20 (VB02)
FUEL INJECTION-DIESEL
Loosen the third injection pump sprocket mounting bolt (arrow) only enough to allow movement of the sprocket on the hub. Move the hub/injection pump shaft to adjust timing.
Specification
- Advance timing
(start of injection)..........Move hub to the right (clockwise) - Retard timing
(start of injection)..........Move hub to the left (counter-clockwise)
- Tighten injection pump sprocket bolts to stage I specification only, start engine and recheck timing value as given earlier. Repeat procedure as necessary to obtain correct timing value.
