Good Morning, Paulee,

The Factory service information that was used to create our VG03 Manual contained NO references at all to any EHA coded transmission at the time it was released to the printer and still does not. We have experienced this situation before.....

I checked with the parts system ETKA, and found the EHA listed, albeit with some conflicting information. One section notes that the EHA was installed in Jetta from 06/01 up, while another says that it was installed 05/01 through 04/02. ETKA also notes that it is installed with 1.8L, 132 KW (180 HP) 4-cylinders engines (presumably AWP). However, none of that particularly matters; since this is a valid transmission code.

The EHA shares the same housing as the EGT, EZK, EGR, EHC, and EXE transmissions, so fluid capacities and types should be the same. It does have several different gear ratios that set it apart.

I have include a link to a page that I made that you can print and add to your manual. I will be sure to include the information in the next edition of the manual.
