Tension strut ball joint torques - front suspension

Replacing tension strut ball joint (aka guide joint) - front suspension

This tension strut ball joint is bolted into to the front wheel bearing carrier and the front tension strut is then mounted to the bal joint stud (arrow).

When reinstalling the ball joint to the wheel carrier, use new bolts and nut at balljoint.
Tighten bushing end of tension strut with vehicle loaded in normal ride height position..

Tightening torques:

Balljoint to wheel carrier 60 Nm (44 ft-lb)

Tension strut to ball joint 80 Nm (59 ft-lb)
